Senseis Theron, Heather and Joshua Bennett have many combined years of experience in Aikido. They are dedicated to their art and especially to guiding their students on the path of Aikido by providing classes that are fun, energetic and challenging.

Sensei Theron Bennett has studied Nihon Goshin Aikido and several styles of Ueshiba based aikido as well as Iaido. His passion is energetic, enlightening classes that illustrate how all Aikido styles are deeply related to each other as well as to the sword. The belief that one never masters the art but merely understands more deeply each day drives him to train his mind, body and soul every day and reminds him he is always a student first - teacher second.

Sensei Heather Bennett enjoys teaching Aikido and demonstrating how the basic principles of centering and taisabaki(body movement) enable one, regardless of size or strength, to control and disable attackers. She is a certified massage therapist specializing in Asian Bodywork including Shiatzu and Accupressure which gives her a unique perspective on Aikido as it relates to pressure points and skeletal and muscular anatomy.

Sensei Joshua Bennett started his Aikido training at six years of age. He obtained his Shodan just before his sixteenth birthday at the Winder dojo. Having started at such a young age, Joshua has a keen and ingrained ability in performing technique. He has a special affinity for teaching children and refining each student's ukemi(falling and rolling) skills.
